Dear Mila,
I have been wanting to write a letter just for you, for you to read someday (when you know how to read). I just think that you are so awesome and funny and stubborn, and I'm just so glad that I have a daughter.
Lately on the weekends when the boys are taking their naps, you and I have our "girl time," we go grocery shopping or run errands or just hang out at Grandma and Grandpa's. I love our "girl time." This last weekend we were in the car and you looked at me and said, "we're the best girls, huh mom?" Later you said, "God made us some beautiful girls" I love that you think of us as the "girls," like equals. You really are my best friend.
You are definitely one of a kind, people always tell me how funny you are and how outgoing you are, we can't go anywhere without you striking up a conversation with some random person. I love that about you, I hope you are always as confident as you are now. Especially with your fashion sense, sometimes I cringe when I see what outfit you have put together but I applaud your zaniness.
You are a great big sister, there is this moment that I always think about, right before Daddy and I went to the hospital to have Scout, Daddy took you to Grandma and Grandpa's because it was late. I started crying really hard thinking about the fact that you would no longer be an only child, and I hoped that our last few days as a family of three had been special enough for you. That was almost two years ago and now you have two brothers. You truly love them, sometimes too much :)
You are growing up so fast.
Love,
Mama
