Mila got her first little set of Legos on Saturday. I'm not sure she understood the concept of legos, when she opened the box she looked a little puzzled as to why they were in pieces and not put together like the front of the box.
So we opened them up...
Mila found her cousin's super sweet hat under the couch, it helps with the assembling process...
What big eyes you have...
Finished product...
I know, big set right? I wanted to make sure she actually liked legos before wasting a bunch of money on a bigger set.
Yesterday was David's any my fourth Valentine's Day as a married couple. And Internet, it was not romantic. I didn't get flowers at work (not that I ever have) or a singing telegram if you can believe that.Instead I made the kids mac 'n cheese, waited for David to get home from work, planned on making dinner together but instead he got home at 7pm and said he wasn't hungry and would just eat a bowl of cereal later. So I ate soup. We got into our pajamas and watched two episodes of "Bones" on Netflix and then called it a night.
ROMANTIC, I KNOW! Maybe it's the fact that we both work full time and have 3 kiddos aged four and under, who knows. He did get me a box of chocolates and a new travel mug because he loses all of ours. Oh and I gave him a card too:
To which he replied: "I'm really glad you don't have balls, babe."
